2 buicks in the PHR EMC

    I heard a rumor there are 2 buicks in this years Popular hotrodding engine master challenge.Anybody know who's building them.

    I would say Mike Phillips and crew from AM&P. He did real well last go around!

    I know that Mike P. from AM&P is in it, BUT he and I have the same problem, MOLDEX CRANKSHAFTS............he's waiting for a crank for the contest motor, since they are very slow, and just tell ya what you want to hear when he ordered them, they promissed it would be ready with plenty of time........
    No crank, no contest.

    The marketing directors from both Jegs and the engine master series had a meeting with us at the PRI show to give us a personal invite to build a Buick this year. No new block, no go.. They really wanted to see us build one with the new block as well. We wish any of the other Buick builders good luck. As a side note, from our two lengthy conversations with our friend Kaase at the PRI show, he was going to be our Buick engine competition until he found out that the new block wasnt going to be available in time as well.
