I'm looking for a pair of 15x7 (or wider) 4 3/4 Rally wheels for my 73 Regal. I don't care how bad they look. I'm just going to put my Hoosiers on them for some test and tune at NTR. The cheaper the better. MARK
Hmm, I have a pair, off an early '80's LeSabre, but I'm not sure if they're 7". Did the 15"s ever come in a 6.5" or 6" variety? Anybody have a code by which I can verify?
I know they came in 6" but I don't know how to decode them. I'm going junkyarding today during my lunch break to see if I can find any. If I can't, how would I get those wheels from you?
Every wheel I've ever seen had the size stamped on the backside of the rim. May take some scrubbing to find it though. Should say 15X7 JJ Made in USA/Canada or something along those lines. Brian
Brian, Thanks, I'll check that out. Mark, How soon do you need them? Perhaps if someone was to head down from this way to the BPG Nats, they could scoop them up on the way down? Lemme know, we'll work something out.
I would need them Saturday the 4th of August. If someone was coming to the Nats on Wed or Thurs I could have my tires mounted in time.
Brian, Thanks for the tip. I found exactly what you described. Mark, Fortunately, these are 15x7s. Now we just need to find someone to shuffle them to Ohio. I can get you some pics if you want. They are daily driver quality, minimal visible rust. I'll PM ya, too.
