Nice Mike.......... I'd love to jump on it. :3gears: But no fundage for a car right now Would you consider an interesting trade? :Brow: I've got a 94 2500 Suburban 4x4 & trailer we're thinking of parting with. D.
1 Hey!! That looks like a tow rig for the wagon. uzzled: Unless you have another tow setup for the wagon....NO WAY!!
Dang Mike, I'd be all over that, it's pretty much what I'm looking for. But I have to get my 89 F150 sold first.
You'd like it David!! Even with high miles, my '88 is still fun to drive. http://www.lesabret.com/phpBB/images/smiles/87ltsmileb.gif
OK.....OK....... Ya nailed me for trying to unload the tow set up while the wife is out of town :spank: that looks like a real nice car for the money....I'll remove myself from the proceedings and let David step up.......now get that ford sold Mr. Gramlow :3gears: D.
Is the paint good? It looks satin rather than gloss. I hate to even get started with this, I'm trying to sell rather than buy more cars. Space costs too much.
Mike, did your car sell yet? I'm still interested. Might want to try to get together the weekend of Sept 10, will be at Chris' shebang in Lakeville. Depends on what happens in the mean time. I'm also looking at a couple of mid-90's Regals here. Is it a 3.8 car?
David - All '87 LeSabre T-Types had the 3.8l engine (Vin 3). In '88, the majority switched to the on-center 3800's (Vin C).
David - Another quick way to tell (without checking the vin#), is that the valve covers are different between the Vin 3 & Vin C engines. Vin 3 has center bolt valve covers. Vin C has perimeter style covers.
I wonder how big a difference the switch to on-center really made? I did some reading last night, and the info I found made it sound like the off-center engines ran like a V8 with 2 cylinders misfiring. Can't be that bad...
The LeSabre GN is in fact very rare, but I can't see it commanding that asking price. No way. Rare does not always mean highly valuable.
Except that he also mentions the 26k in the text of the listing. He's going to get a reality check, I think.
Sorry it took so long David, Haven't had much time lately. If your still interested the car is still here!! I sent you a PM!!! :Brow:
