Look at the radiator cover around the bolts....

 

I'm not doubting you. I either must have a bad monitor or my eyes are getting worse, or both.

Why don't you go talk em down a bit in price. :laugh:

 

This car listed in 1987 for $29,000..... For $100,000 I better be able to eat off it.......not start restoring the engine compartment... if they have a better and closer photo, they need to post it.... i'm looking at it on a 21 inch monitor..

I HIGHLY doubt thats rust you are seeing. My car came from up north, and has a anti-rust agent applied. It is like a cosmoline type protectant. While it would look cleaner without it, Im guessing it was something highly recomended when it was originally sold. Mine has it up front as well as under the rear decklid. Heres what mine looks like, while dark, you can still see what Im talking about.
