    Hey guys,

Im looking for a good daily driver at the moment.
I would prefer a Buick (of course). But its to expensive to drive any of the big ones every day.
Some days ago I saw a 80 Regal Sport Coupe for sale.
It has a nice two tone blue paint job, good chrome, nice blue interior and a 5.0 litre V8.
I never had a regal, so I dont know:

    - whats the weight of that car
    - what gas mileage will I get with it
    - Are they good drivers in winter (in austria we have snow and salt)
    - are regals common known to rust?
    - 5.0 litre, what engine is this?? not a Buick SB
    - what transmission should it have? Th200 ?
    - how about spare parts (I only know about Centurion parts.. difficult to get, GS parts easy to get)

Are there any special things I should know when buying a regal?

What engines can I put in without major modifications? Buick 350?
What axle did they usually have in? I will need a POSI for driving in snow.
How much horse power will the transmission be able to stand without major mods?
