I Am Buying A 80 Buick Regal Sport Coupe That I Am Doing A V6 To Sbb 350 Swap And Saw On The Build Sheet That It Has F41 Suspension Just Wondering What That Means What Components? Thanks Bill
The Sport Coupes were the Turbo cars, at least in 1979. Bigger swaybars, stiffer springs, etc. Not sure what steering box it came with.
F41 was one of the sport suspension options for Buick, Chevy and mainly Olds. Very desirable, especially if it included badges. I don't think it did in Buicks. There was a FE3 option on GN's as well-- similar.
I looked it up in the 1979 Buick color/trim/selling manual. Regal Sport Coupe (Turbo) included the 'Rallye ride-and-handling suspension' and fast ratio power steering. Standard ratio is 16.1, fast ratio is 15.3:TU:
