Hey guys, new to the fourm for posting but have been reading for awhile. I picked up a 1975 buick skylark awhile back and been putting the work into it. I am in current need of a new hood and cant seem to find any after market makers, or any donor cars for a 75 on craiglist or the junkyards. I was wondering will other year skylark hoods fit?
Thank you, any input is appriciated

    David G de-modded....

I can't tell you if other model year hoods may fit, but try placing an ad in the Parts Wanted section for the 75 hood you need.

okay thank you, i did not even think of that. if anyone else know if a 77 hood will fit let me know, i found one in a junkyard but its 100$ shipping so i don't want to spend that kind of money on a guess.

    BobBuick still crazy after all

I believe the hoods are the same from 75-79 as long as long as it came off a Buick , The others ( omega nova and phoenix ) will fit but the lines built into the hood will not line up . On a different note I have a decent back bumper from a 76 that has rubber strip and bumperettes you can have ( I'm also in CT )

No kidding. I passed on buying this super clean hood off a 77 sedan, along with the front bumper, as I didn't want to sit on
them forever. The yard also did have a '79 and it also had a complete front clip I refrained from buying. I did buy the fenders, front extensions, and some grille attachment and other small parts off the '77 sedan. Some 75's may have been called Apollo's as the 73-74 nameplate badging was not immediately retired following introduction of the '75 Buick models.
