Anybody on here ever encounter issues with their convertible top. I have a 1975 buick lesabre. Last night i attempted to put the top down for the first time since April...it will only go half way down or to the point its pointed up. I tried a few times and it wouldnt go down but would go to the exact same spot pointed up...I checked to see if anything blocking the top but nothing is. Other then that it works fine

A 70 manual won't cover the scissor top. It's 71-76 full size GM convertibles only.

I fixed it. Well not fixed it but know how to get it down and up now..Basically these two bars are touching so a helper got push it to the side when it goes down. I can stop it and push it to the side myself to make it go down also.
