    Hi all...
I'm new to this site, but not to Buicks. I've owned 16 of them in the last 40 years, but the one I'm most interested in is the one that I didn't buy.

In 1972, I ordered a 1973 Stage 1 from a Buick dealer in Garland, Texas. It was white with brown split bench seat interior. When the car came in, I didn't have the money to buy it. I saw the car one time at the dealer, then it disappeared. The dealer is long gone, and I was wondering if anyone out there knows the whereabouts of the car.

I've spoken with Eric Britton, and he suggested I use this sight to start my search. Any info would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at ik167@yahoo.com or call Pat Neil at 214.536.3021.

I have a super nice 1974 GS 455 with 42k that would serve as a nice surrogate should this one not be located.:)

There were only two '73 Stage 1 cars built with that color and seat combination. Your car was sold to dealer Ken Pruitt Buick Company in Sept. 1972. It was only the 4th Stage 1 to come off the Flint line that model year. I have never seen this car for sale but I will let you know if it ever pops up. Keep in mind there are only a couple dozen of the original 728 Stage cars left, I have looked at Marco's Stage 1 Registry and I have been watching and keeping track of "for sale" ads for some time so I have a pretty good count. How about buying one of the green cars that have been for sale on ebay?

Pat, is this one registered?:Do No:

Dean if you read the date on the first post you will see that apparently I am the one who has been asleep  since July 2007.

Yeah, I just noticed that right before you posted this one and had already revised MY post. I'm awake now, too.

I have dinner with Pat and his wife several times a year, but he hadn't even mentioned he had posted on here looking for the car.

Dean I was searching for another thread so I did a quick search on my last name and was suprised to find all these other threads where my name was mentioned. You should try it some time. Thank God I didn't find anything derogatory :puzzled: . but I did find a few threads that needed my attention. Guess I should log in more often.

Eric, As far as I know, I only know of one Stage 1 white car in the registry. Its the Sun Coupe one that was on Ebay. The other white one (local to me) has white bucket interior and is totally shot...It would help if there was a VIN available for this particular car...

Yes, I do remember the white Stage 1 from Nevada and it's not that one. And you are right I cannot post any specific VINs.

I believe gsjohnny has a white 73 he bought new in CT but I don't remember what color interior he has. Going back a few years I had a white GS455 with the brown saddle interior with the split bench. Junked it about 7 years ago.

Sorry to bring this up after so many months (I'm new here), but there was a green/green interior (buckets) 1973 Stage 1 GS that I looked at (western suburbs of Chicago) way back in 1982. Are the production figures for the 1973's broken down to the level of color/seat combo?
