Wow, located on Long Island. I've never seen this car that I can remember. I wonder if Jason has.

Mint 50k original numbers matching, price to sell IMHO. Anyone who has actually owned and driven one of these knows what great cars they are.

If I was going to buy a '73-4, I have zero desire to restore one & would happily "overpay" for one in that condition or like the one @72STAGE1 just got or one one that's been properly restored.

absolutely right Dano, hell, the hardest thing about those years is finding good condition trim pieces or plastic stuff (interior as an example). Needless to say sheet metal!

Dano that’s the one to have, hard to find better, unrestored, if it weren’t for the bench seat I would be trying to make a deal for it and hoping to get below $35 k. I think they may be alittle ambitious with the current price.

That sure raises the bar on the 1973-74 market.

about time, I guess mine is worth a bunch more than. Maybe I can leave my son mine with some kind of decent value when I die.

Fernando is yours the silver 73 Stage 1, like Seafoam mist or something? I’ve been searching for one from the 1980’s that was sold at Wills Buick in Longmont Colorado.

    A bit off the cuff..
How is the rear sway bar attached on the 73 and 74's? It looks like it goes inside the lower control arms or am I way off?

Bruce is midnight blue with white half top and white interior, 4 speed. Owned for 46 years, as a high school graduation gift from my dad. To me it is a survivor, to survive a teenager years, raced and driven to college and still be a numbers matching car. I restored it last in 1984-85 to enter a World of Wheels Show and to beat out the rest of my class was enough to pat myself in the back for being a kid doing it all in my little garage at my parents house. It's been articles written in MuscleCar Review back then in the 80's or 90's and a few other magazines. about 3 or 4 hardcover books like Motor City Muscle, Ultimate MuscleCar book and a few others that I can't remember. Not in perfect condition today but still very respectful for a car that gets driven to local shows. Hopefully if things go my way it will be in BG for the first time in 2023. Be looking forward the 50th anniversary of the Colonnades.

Peter the swaybar is on the bottom of the lower control arms, all the Colonnades used the same style bar until 78 when the G body came out.

Bruce here is about a year ago had a friend knock out a couple imperfections on the body. I'll get more pics once we are in BG.

you are absolutely right 73stage2, I can't remember crap anymore, sorry about that!

Don't have any current pics to post Bruce but older ones from back then. I am horrible about taking pictures and documenting all I do on these cars. But I know one thing, is every night and minute of a weekend that out in the shop working away. I can't wait to finally retire from my Mon-Fri job.
