I have two convertible top frames for sale for a 1968 - 1972 "A" body car. Asking $325.00 each or best offer. Estimated shipping costs about $150.00.

The top on a A-body is totally different. An A-body folds back over itself, where the frame on the Le saber is like a scissor and the frame will fold inwards and overlap itself.

In this video you can just make out the scissor mechanism

71 or newer Olds, Chevy, Pontiac,or Buick FULL size. I think 71-75 , 75 being the last year for those convertibles

I dont want to stop a sale, but these wont fit your LeSabre
    As mentioned above you need...

The A-body cars and full size cars use a totally different mechanism.

Those in the know here are telling us that this is not a good match for you. If you still think you want the parts you can buy them but I would like to sell the top as a complete unit.

71-76 b body tops are not even hydraulic. a single motor like a power window uses operates the top. scissor-tops have nothing in common (except for a couple screws) with a top from an a body.

i was told i could use the passneger side frame from a cadi:spank: so i put it on myself:blast: does not bot to body like it should:ball: and after i let it down it gos past the front windshiled:ball: so i thought it was something i did:idea2: rong drove it over to a shop where they do convertible tops they pulled it rite off! and told me you can not use parts from a cadi or caprices they are bigger and made diffrent

if you have a caddy frame piece from a pre71 (hydraulic) top, none of it will fit. its a totally different system.
for the big cars...71-75 buick olds pontiac chevy and 71-76 caddy are all interchangable.
there are some extreemly slight differences (the 71 model had a different end on the side tension cables) on a couple of them but taking that into account if needed, function wise they are interchangable.
all the same length, bows, drive actuators, drive cables, motors, relays, width, height, weatherstrips, etc.

when installing a glass back window rear curtain on a plastic rear curtain car, there needs to be some little arms w/ springs mounted in the trunk and connectad to the lower corners near the new glass that pull the glass out of the way. it the arms arent installed it just a matter of time before the new glass gets busted.

Ok i understand what your saying! But the right side of a caddy is not the same as my Buick its longer and made diffrent so does any body have a full top frame for sale from 1972 and up only thanks!
