I'm not having any luck selling my 69 GS, so lets try this one. I have an original 1972 Skylark with 34k original miles. It has 85% of the original paint. The interior, carpet, seats, mats, etc etc is 100% original. I did have the top professionally replaced last year. It's a 350 2bbl with complete original drive train too. It still has R12 in the AC and still blows cold. I also added Tilt, Sport Wheel and Factory AM FM to the car a few years ago. I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere. The paint and chrome is showing a little age but the car still looks GREAT When I bought the car I replaced the following: Shocks, they were original spiral Exhaust, it was original Valve Cover gaskets Radiator Alternator Belts Brake rubber hoses and wheel cylinders, shoes are still originals Car is located at 44446 $8500 firm Thanks Dom
Hi Dom, Nice car, is that Aztec Gold in color? Does it use or leak any oil? Can you email more photos to me at the address below? Is the dash cracked at all? Thanks for your time. John ruddracing28@hotmail.com
It does not use or leak any oil. The trans dip stick tube has a slight leak, but only after it sits for months. The dash is perfect and original. I'm not sure on the color. I will send you more pics. Thanks
I love cars like this, and if were in a diff situation, would probably buy.Sorry, you prob hear that alot.
That is Antique Gold. My car is identical to his, same color, etc. except for the power brakes and vinyl roof. And we are only a few miles apart. Wish I had the coin. Gotta Love It!
Thanks for the color explanation. It used to have a tan top, but I couldn't get the right color tan, so I went with the black. I also have the original 14" Bias Ply tires and wheels, with original Hub Caps. The Caps are real nice, but the tires are dry rotted. It has 15" Buick Wheels and new tires on it now, as seen in the pictures.
I got an offer of 7k. I'm sorry, but I just can't let it go that cheap. I have around $8200 in her. I would let it go for 8k if anyone is serious in buying. Thanks Dom
Car is sold and gone. It's on it's way to PA. Very sad to watch it go away on a trailer Thanks Steve and Andrea, nice meeting you both. Thanks to V8 too !!!!
Dom, It was great meeting you. Car was exactly as you described. If only we had proper registration, I would have driven it home. -Steve
