Unusual bucket seat, column shift combo, the driver seat is split at the seams but the rest of the interior is good. -Dash is good, no cracks, wood grain door panels near perfect, glass all good, carpet ok. Some light panel damage but minimal rust. Trunk has some rust but pretty solid. -Will need to be trailered. This is an estate car that has been sitting 20 years. Ran when parked but not running now. -Last registered in 2000. Same owner last 40 years. 85,000 miles. -Asking $4700, fair price for this car. If this were a Chevelle it would be $12k. -Open to offers but needs to be close. -Cash only, local sale only. Will go to highest offer by Sunday night. Located in Grand Junction.
Neat car & decent price as long as it hasn't been all patched up or needing floors - Esp. as "best offer by Sunday takes it."
Not sure how many ppl in Grand Junction are going to be all over this if really cash/local only & best offer by Sunday. Should've hopped on a plane to Denver this morning w/$3k cash and grabbed a truck/trailer & headed over the mountains, lol. Could probably have it road worthy in a day and driver 'er home. Now that'd be a fun spur of the moment adventure!
It might be a deal to you guys and gals in the midwest but not so much to me or here in Colorado. It has rust in all 4 pretty high in the fenders, been sitting for 20 years, eng might be locked up, water leaking from the sail panels inside and into the trunk but not holes. I may be spoiled living in an arid climate now but from Illinois so know what humidity does to cars, its realistically a 3.5kish car, just my opinion and yes it has been looked at by a lot of people and they deemed you could go wrong at that price. I guess in the humid states, its rust free..door panels are nice. Tread lightly if you are interested and contact, its his brothers car who passed in Dec and hes selling off the possessions and travels 4.5 hours over the hills on the weekends to do so with garage sales and such. Hes not a car guy at all but a super nice kid that will help you in any way he can in the sale of it..
Very solid car,...that little bit of rot is NOTHING to worry about,...I'll bet money the floors are perfect
