Looking for a ‘72 GS NOS RH black tail lamp lens. I would also consider a very nice original one, pending pics.
I’m not for sure. I haven’t seen any ‘72 Skylarks in person to look at, other then a ‘72 at a local car show last week, but it had a ‘71 rear bumper on it.
Positive that's the case. I thought @gsfred some NOS '72 Skylark t/l lenses. I had a 4-door Skylark once (mid/late '80's maybe) that was the biggest POS but had a beautiful rear bumper & GS T/L lenses. Figured it must've been in an accident when NOS was avail. & the only lenses avail. (or the dealer had them in stock) were the black version. Just finally sold the bumper/lenses in the past couple of years.
I bought a LH lens from him. He didn’t have a RH lens. I have a couple leads on a RH, but nothing response yet from either.
The low-end '72 Skylarks used the same blacked-out tail light lens as a GS, as well as the same front grille (but not painted black like a GS) and hood lip chrome trim. The tail light lens are all the same, just some are painted silver and others are painted black.
I assumed they were the same but wasn’t sure about the colors for the Skylark only. I knew the grilles were the same. Thanks man!
