Guys just wondering what a 1972 gs convertible is worth these days?
It is a factory cortez gold, with white top and interior.
Matching number 350 and 350 trans,342 rear, carb matching as well.
Original Rust free North Carolina body with one repaint(so so) original paint in the door jams and trunk Ect.
Nothing missing and super nice it even has factory air . I located the broadcast sheet under the gas tank.
flloors , trunk, quarters, doors original and rust free sheet metal.
Oh I forgot it has the N25 bumber and bumper guards.

Tough to estimate w/o pics and more details.

How many miles? Engine/trans/rear rebuilt or gone thru?
Other options beside ac such as disc brakes, posi, rear sway bar, rally wheels, tilt, gages, tach, speed alert, pw, pdl, p.seat, ptrunk, cruise, sport mirrors, sport steering wheel, etc

    Interior condition?

From little info, I am going to guess $10-12k

the car has power seat, rally wheels, air condition, pwr brakes drum, power steering, power top, rally guages, posi rear 3:42, map light mirror,N25 bumper & bumber guards. The body is perfect no rust and hasn't ever had any. One repaint scuffed and shot all jams and trunk original paint . I have the broadcast sheet. The top and interior are in good shape but are the wrong color black instead of white. the car is numbers matching down to the carb. original 68000 miles. trans and rear matching as well. never been rebuilt. Car runs like a dream drove it 3 hours home.

Nice machine. Bench seat and column shift like most except SCOs? That is an important factor in the equation.

It is hard for 350 cars, even nice converts ,to penetrate the 20K barrier and extremely rare to see one go 25K. A nice 4 speed might.

IT is a bench seat with the fold down arm rest and column shift. Convertibles in 1971-72 where not availible with buckets. it has the rear sway bar as well. I think you coulld get buckets but it was a special order only.
thanks for the compliment on the car it truly is the most rust free convertible I have ever seen that is orignal paint.

Believe me we know the SCO situation for buckets.

tell me about it.....I will never understand why they didn't offer it . would be nice if it was a buckets seat car as the bench seat is one thing i dont care for.

We have talked about the possible reasons but to my knowledge no one knows why they went presumptively for bench seats.

Jim, they did it to piss us off for the next 30 to 50 years. What else could they be thinking? No cost savings because the coupes had buckets that would fit exactly the same.

KDC, are you buying or selling that car?
