1972 front impact strips

I'm looking at purchasing new from impact strips for my 72 bumper.
Years ago I purchased what i thought was the correct stuff from the parts place but it was just stick on stuff.
Bob Ward I believe is the guys name and he makes what looks to be factory stuff.
Does the parts place make better stuff yet?
Just wondering if anyone has bought good impact strips for a 72 front bumper

CARS sells the nice 3-piece reproductions that bolt on like the originals.

I am the supplier of impact strips to parts place. Sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with my product. Did you use the included screws to secure the strip in addition to the tape? Just wondering why you weren't satisfied with the strip.

I can't say i'm not happy with it as I never used it. Its still on my parts shelf. I purchased it likely 10 years ago thinking it was the 3 piece original style. I remember it showing up and didn't think the tap would hold up so it never went on the car.

 

I was originally concerned about the tape adhesion also. I believe the combination of securing the strip to the bumper with the screws supplied in addition to the 3M tape really helps longevity. I have had it on my car at least 15 years. The strip can also easily be cut in three pieces to help appear close to original equipment. On the other hand the other product is probably great also.
