Hello all, I have yet another posi question, I've read the threads on the previous posi questions and I'm still confused, so here goes. I've found in the junk yard a set of posi gears out of the rearend of a 1971 buick electra, the guy says that they are 2.93 gears. I'm currently running a 24" rim (275 25/24 tire) I'm interested in understanding what if any benefits, that I would achieve other than two wheels hooking up instead of one. Let me know.

Thats a beautiful Buick in your avatar. The only advantage is two wheels hooking up, but that is a huge advantage if you are racing. I doubt you will be racing your Buick, so I would skip all the trouble of swapping it.

Hello I kinda want to build a sleeper, but I'm not sure how far I want to go, I would like it to, look good and as if I would never beat up, but it's like a bullet off the line(if that's possible) and in the long run.
