Hello everyone, can someone point me in the direction for a complete replacement posi rearend for my 72 electra coupe? Im looking for it to have 4.11 gears and disc brakes, motor is a 6.0l ly6 and 4l80e. Thanks much in advance
Find an 8.5 out of your same vintage LeSabre that has a small block. It’s a direct bolt in, and aftermarket gears are plentiful
yep mine has the 8.5 easy to find parts for. you could also use another brands big car rear as well. same 71-76.
Some 71-76 BOP C body cars will have your current 9.3 rear but none will have a 4.11. 3.42 is about as high as they came and they are rare. There are no aftermarket gear sets for the BOP 9.3.
