    Lee,
I just sold another 1972 455 hard to find part. I am starting to dig through my parts stashes, so if you need something you might want to call before I start listing more pieces for sale here.

    Dean,
OK here's the skinny on the 71-72 hood tach vent fitting for the air box, I found the fitting in with my parts but the problem is it was not alone.

I must have been putting a "Hood tach" set together for my 71 GSX. At first we were not sure if it had an in-dash tach or a hood tach. I was able to verify (from date codes) that the car indeed came with an in-dash tach so I never used the Hood tach parts.

What I have is an original 71 Hood tach (with a damaged housing & lens surround), an original firewall-hood tach wiring harness, pieces of another harness, the 90 degree plastic vent fitting and both of the special clips that hold the hose to the top edge of the firewall.

The only thing I am missing is the clip that attaches the hose to the hood, the hoses, and the valve that goes into the hose. If I find those pieces, and get the tach housing repaired it would give me a full set.

I am sorry but I cannot split this up.
