    bought it today another project help with vin 454671y140486. need body parts trunk floor pan battery tray, fenders quaters can i put 4 barrel on it and intake is the same as my 69 sportwagon,1972 gs,what about distributoris 2barrel and 4 barrell the same. but what i really need is help with body parts,convertble parts,can i put duals ,want to restort it please help i need to fine st

    Not too many convertibles made, I would look for body parts from the coupes. Shoot us some pics and we'll get a an idea of how much of a handful you have there.

    All model year 1971 LeSabre convertibles were LeSabre Custom models, and only 1856 were built.
    Your car came with the 350 CI engine if it has a two barrel carburator.
    (Engine code is TC)

    Here's the VIN information:

    4 = Buick

    54 = LeSabre Custom

    67 = Convertible

    1 = Model year 1971

    Y = Built in the Wilmington, Delaware factory

    140486 = Wilmington production number for model year 1971
    (started at 100001)

    You can still use your ignition after the 4 barrel swap, don't forget that you also need a different air filter housing.
    Dual exhausts are also possible, the 455 LeSabres came with dual exhausts.
