That’s a fine 71GS convertible Great colors. Bucket seats and center console were also added, Buick should’ve made that an easy option to get and 71 and 72.

Funny, my '71 GS convertible was orig. equipped with almost everything this one didn't orig. have and vice versa.

Mine orig. had N-25, PW, P-seat, rear speaker, Rallye Steering Wheel, Forced Comfort Flo, chrome wheels, & remote chrome mirror whereas this one has F-41, A/C (incl. HD cooling), rear defogger, deluxe wheelcovers, & block heater.

They only share the automatic, disk brakes, AM-FM, gauges/clock, body side moldings, bumper guards, posi, gauges/clock, convenience group & tinted glass & between them, other than mutually exclusive options, all I can think of that they're missing is 455, 8-track, trunk molding, tilt, PDL, HD air cleaner, & cruise.

Tough to say. Sure looks nice & a very well done car that can be driven - Can't wait for mine to look that good! I go back and forth on the look of the bumper guards & body side moldings but they sure do look good on this car IMHO. Do the changes (buckets/console, tilt, N-25, rallye wheel, chrome wheels, etc.) help, hurt or neither? Probably all help. I love buckets/console but wouldn't want them if added to a real GS. I'll say $40k hammer price would be good for buyer & seller for a 350 car but in today's market it could certainly go higher. Will definitely be watching it.
