    Guys,
I am looking for a 71 455 electronic Throttle Control Solenoid and bracket like the one in the picture below. It would be from a late 71 455 with the automatic transmission. The 71 solenoids have a black rubber boot on the bottom and would be the same for 350's & 455's, while the bracket is for a 71 455 with A.T. only. Let me know what you have, and thanks.

    George,
That's the baby. Let me know when you find it & how much you want.

    John,
That's the only pic I have. The one in the assembly manual has the solenoid covering up the bracket.

The intake from the archives is of my '71 350-4V. I've posted shots from the side as well but can't find them. Who here is good at searching archives?

The pictures in the 71 assembly manual are a bit confusing, but it appears there were 5 different brackets/set-ups,
    350-2bbl manual trans # 1238408
    350-4bbl manual trans # 1238409
    350-auto trans # ?
    455 manual trans # 1238410
    455 auto trans # 1239726

Then you add to the fact that this was used for only the second half of 1971, and all this is crazy.

    JDB,
What is the part number printed on the bottom of the decal in your picture?

    JDB,
No, I still need the bracket, and it looks like the one in your pictures is correct. If it is for sale I would like to purchase it. Let me know how much you want for it.

    John,
It looks like the left one in your pic is a 455 auto and the right one is a 350 auto.
