Will do! Had to drop it off this morning to make its way to VT (thanks Joe!) to have that hole repaired. When I get it back home, I will take as many pics as I can…

Wait a second, that was the sender they put back in the wrong new Chevelle tank??

The initial owner said he got tired of driving miles and miles for race gas as it ran like crap on the pump gas at the time.
As far as iv'e read it still has stock pistons. How much did Kenne-Bell mill the Stage 3 heads?

I will get clarification on the fuel tank.. I don't know if it was the original owner or second owner that put it in. Hopefully, Dylan will post a picture of the BROWN fuel we pulled out of it (!!!!).

Here is the tank that was in it. I believe it is a 1971-1972 Chevelle fuel tank. 3 vent ports in the rear...

The CORRECT fuel tank arrived on Saturday, the correct fuel sender last night, and the correct 1970 fuel tank vent set up on Monday... The tank will go in today.

Thanks Dylan! We are progressing well. We pulled the front bench outside to clean to get that installed. As I was cleaning it, the beautiful passenger side of the bench appeared beautiful... Until I folded it back, and found the ENTIRE upper PS seat was one, giant mouse nest! The entire thing was SOLID. I found 3 mouse carcasses. So, I stripped the seat down to the metal frame, will power wash it tomorrow, get batting, burlap, and whatever the hell else I need to recover it.

George, where are the pics of the mouse nest???? At least you may have located the source of the bad smell......

The mold smell was overwhelming when I had it here. With the windows up, it smacked you in the face when you walked into the garage. I think George and Dylan will have it nearly knocked out with their work.

I think it would be wise to get an ozone generator and run it for a week off and on in there.

    Here you go Chris!!!

Adam- I think it was the combination of:
    1. Soggy carpet= that was holding moisture and deterioration
    2. Mouse nest under dash- above the steering column
    3. Mouse nest lower DS rear seat bottom
    4. Mouse nest upper seat back, PS rear
    5. Mouse nest- floor support, PS rear
    6. GIANT mouse nest(s), front bench seat back, PS
    7. Mouse trails- rear upper panels to rear sail panels, into head liner, then down to glove box/ behind the dash.

Spent HOURS vacuuming, spraying compressed air, using leaf blower, then diluted bleach, wire wheels, rags, masks, gloves, acetone, lacquer thinner, and all forms of cleaners to get most of the remnants of the mice OUT. Thankfully, what you can now smell is the stale ass fuel still in the old fuel tank. Once that is gone, we should be OK...

I want to preserve as much of the originality of the car as I can...
