1970 rear bumper

Bumper got ruin in the accident so I'm Looking for a 70 gs rear bumper either the base or the n25 option bumper lemme know if you guys know of anyone who has one currently or where to get it from thanks guys and so the hunt begins

Anyone go this route, that price is actually less than others on EBAY for a re-plated bumper?

 

Hi, I am pretty sure at the parts place you need to give them a core to rechrome as they don't stock them and that's why the price is so good.

 

So basically it's the same as the exchange-a-tanks for grilling?

 

Tri City plating in Tennessee can re-chrome yours, probably the best in the business, for around $525. Shipping cost to and from is what will drive your cost up.

 

Kyle... FYI, there was never an N25 option for 1970. However, Rusty Davenport can hand manufacture/convert a nice N25 from a 70 core...then it will need replating... just an option.

...and I manufacture 2-1/2" and 3" Stainless N25 tips!! :Brow:

nope. Sorry, you've been misinformed Kyle. :rant: However, many guys DO convert standard 70 bumper to N25 option.. ..

I had a N25 for my 72 made by Rusty and a set of tips from Wheelz. I get a lot of good comments at the car shows on both. They do a great job.

looks just like a 71 N25 bumper...WELL, maybe a lil different but..... . . . same locations. same holes, and IF they're from me ~ same FABULOUS POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL TIPS!!! :TU:
