I bought this tail light for my 70 Lesbare But I ended up not needing it. From what I've been told (someone correct me if I'm wrong) there are two different types of Tail Lights for the 70 Lesabre. One is the "45" and the other is the "46" . Supposedly The "46" was for the later produced 70 Lesabres after Jan. 1970. The tail light on my Lesabre is marked "Guide 45 SAE STIAR 70-1" the one on the NOS part is "Guide 46 SAE STIAR 70-1" And they don't match up completely.
