This car is truly incredible and the pictures don't do it justice. It's a 54,000 mile survivor that is all original with the exception of a new Gardner reproduction exhaust system, tires, shocks and tune-up components. It's completely unmolested, bone stock and runs like a dream. The undercarriage is spotless and the car has absolutely zero rust. Even the core support and inner fender are solid with surface rust only. It has 100% of its original paint, white vinyl roof and bright white interior. The only flaw in the inside is some yellowing of the arm rest bases and a 1" tear in the driver side seat bottom. The gauge and radio bezels look like they've been rechromed, but they're original as well. The code 25 Gulfstream blue paint has a few scratches that the original owner "touched up". It still shines like new and it has its five original date coded WG wheels that are perfect. We drove it from Palm Beach to the 2006 GS Nationals, over 1800 miles, and it never missed a beat. This is a two owner car that was bought new in Waynesville, NC and stayed with the original elderly woman owner until 2000. It's been meticulously maintained and garaged since new in the gentle Southern climate and it shows. This is a no-excuses, all numbers matching survivor and the nicest unrestored GS I've seen. I'm going to try here for a week, then Ebay. Hopefully it will go to a board member and not a dealer. $25,000. Donny
Dang it Donny! That's my all-time perfect color combo! Now I have to sell all my cars to buy this one! Anybody interested in an original 30K mile 73' Electra?o No:
Donny, that is a beautiful car. Reminds me of the 70 GSX (apollo white) that I passed up 6 yrs ago for 12k! Wish I had the cash! Guess I'll just have to keep plugging away at my old junk, maybe someday it'll look like your car! Good luck with the sale. Why you selling, anyway? If I had that car I'd drive it everywhere and love every minute. Especially the big smokey burnouts!
This is another one of those threads that is giving me a headache ou: ou: IF, IF, IF.... If I had the extra cash and if I only had a place to keep it. I say no way it goes to ebay. What does $25K buy you today in a new car? Nothing close to this Buick is all I know.
WOW if only ..........reminds me of my 1st car only mine had a black top....that is a beautiful car man.
Here's the perfect stablemate to this car. Buy them both and have one for all occasions. http://www.showroomclassics.com/muscle.php?id=273486f39bc6d934b02c4d40eeca9c3e Donny
This car really belongs in the hands of a Buick enthusiast and not a dealer or flipper, but as much as I hate to do it, if there's no solid interest from boardmembers over this weekend, I'll be listing it for a 10 day run on Ebay on Wednesday evening. Donny
I agree . The vert is nice but has had some paint mismatch and gaps are kinda bad. Still cool . Donny I wish I could . You would have to takew a trade in for the 2 I am working on now!
I'm going to have to take another job so I can work 24 hours a day. There are a rediculous amount of deals coming out of the woodwork on this board lately.!!
This GS is the holy grail of Buicks for me and I'm not in a position to do anything about it!!!:ball:  It has the right colors, right options and trim... I've been making myself sick trying to figure out how to afford this. I let one slip away at the same price as Donny's 2 years ago and I've never forgiven myself... and Donny's is even better than the one I let get away!! Please, somebody take this temptation away before I sell all my worldly possessions to buy this GS!!!
Trying to get my dad on this since i'm out of $$ and storage. He asked if the air conditioning still works?
