I know about the GM Brass Hat cars, and the Zone cars, but have never seen a 70 GS Brass Hat mentioned before...hard to say if this thing is cobbled together or what. https://www.raleighclassic.com/vehicles/1012/1970-buick-gran-sport
It has been for sale for awhile now: https://v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1970-gs-stage1-convertible.371926/ https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1970-stage-1-convertible-auction.352393/
Car was ordered by a gm exec very highly optioned car never titled while the wife drove then sold to Ken Anderson who had it for yrs and finally sold it
GM offered the rear window defogger (blower motor and ductwork under the rear seat top) for convertibles for 70-72, but I don’t remember if the Buick’s had them for all 3 years. The 70 set-up is different then the 71-72 set-up due to the changes with the sheet metal under the rear seat top. Duane
I owned a 1972 Stage I convertible that had a factory rear defogger, so it was defiantly available that year. Larry.
