1970 GS A/C system is working again

    It has been a long road, but my A/C system is functional. I started collecting parts and tools in 2019 and this fix finally made it to the top of the list. New parts needed: drier from Old Air Products, condenser from The Parts Place, compressor and clutch through O'Rielley and POA valve from Dano on this board. Tools needed: vacuum pump and gauge set from Harbor Freight, recovery tank through my employer, recovery machine through Amazon, stickers and bolt kit through Stage1Restoration, R12 through FB Marketplace. All told about $1500 in tools and supplies and $600 in parts.

    That's chilly! I like it.

    I spy one of the new repro clear overflow tanks, too.

    Yes. I have an early 70 car and a bought the clear top replacement as soon as they were available last year.

    Thats cold! I'm getting about 50 deg. from the beater on R134.
