Had many buicks over the years and just picked up a nice 70 skylark convertible from CA. Has 350 4brl, power windows & seats, a/c, disc brakes, tilt wheel, etc seemed like a lot of options. But the strange one (that I have never seen before) is it has some type of tonneua cover that you can snap on with the top down? It also has a section that zips out where the driver sits. There are snaps up on the dash by the winshield, just inside the door glass & on the back. I have seen these before on british sports cars, but never on a skylark. Do I have something rare or is this no bid deal, just another option?? I can add a pic it that helps. Just hoping some other Buick guys have maybe seen/heard of this option before. The snaps all look really old and the cover definetly smells like the 70s! Thanks for any help.
I imagine this was made for the car aftermarket. SOme British sports cars had them but I do not think it was an option for the Lark
