In, '70, I thought that the 3.23 was standard on the GS 350. I didn't think the 3.23 was available on the GS 455 and the "performance" rear gear ratio was the 3.42. I have also had several longtime rear end builders tell me that the Buick 8.2's had several improvements that the other sister Divisions did not use and these improvements made them stronger and quieter.
Hey guys, you could be right sorry about the mislead. For some reason I was thinking the LC code was "Big Block" in which all it means is "68-70 Buick A-body with a 3.23 Ratio" the rear end actually came out of a Stage 1 car but of course we all know it had to have been changed.
If you have a Fastenal store nearby, you can drop it off there. I can get a quote and all the information,if you want, I just need city & zip code.
The cost is $125.00 to ship from Fastenal,in Mason,to Erie PA. I'm good with that,if you are willing to strap it diagonal to a pallet, and drop it off at that location. I can give you the quote number,or a copy of the sheet.
