21D56DDA-BC6C-4853-AA2A-AA0DEFE6021A.jpeg I have a new in box brown headliner I bought from legendary. I needed burnished saddle. This is brown. Bought for a 1970 GS350.
    $110 plus ride.
For right now. I’m holding until I check match again.

@70 GMuscle Did Legendary give you a part number for the Burnished Saddle Headliner for 1970? Asking because my interior is Burnished Saddle as well for my 70GS 455 and that's what they told me to order. The HL70GK98NP2 that you have.
    Thanks,
    Nick

For what it's worth, Burnished Saddle (the darkest brown) was a one-year only interior color and many Vendors have had issues distinguishing this darker brown from the later "regular brown" which was called Saddle, I believe.

No, they don’t appear to offer it. The photo in the catalogue appears burnish brown. It’s not.
I have the rubber mats too that are brown. Wrong color.
I hope someone knows where it’s made, if at all.

Yes, realize that now (1 year color).

For what it's worth, here is what they sold me for Burnished Saddle Interior....The top sail panel and sun visor came out of my car (had no headliner to reference) and the bottom sail panel and sun visor is what Legendary sold me for a 70 GS Burnished Saddle Interior along with the "brown" headliner above. The head rest cover in the middle is from them and does match the seat covers which is the dark burnished saddle. Question is, how dirty are my old parts (52 yrs old) up against brand new bits. Either way, I installed the parts they sent me. It's definitely lighter, but I think its ok. Not as dark inside and good contrast.

For reference, here's the carpet I they sold me and installed https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/carpet-install-procedure-advice-tips.375044/page-2
And the headliner is installed in this thread to give you an idea of what it looks like https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/found-a-new-spot-to-hide-today.371848/

I have burnished saddle carpet which is great.
The mats don’t match tho. Brown.

I will match the headliner against the seats. And decide. It’s been since last year when I broke it out to install.

You have to dye it,...install it then paint it

Burnished saddle is darker than dark saddle. It is confusing but true.

Never even heard of dark saddle. But I really like burnished. It’s on Jason Lines Stage 1 he recently got.

I’m not sure. My interior is Burnished Saddle and I just assumed dark saddle is the same. But I don’t I know. If you can get some pics, please share. My car didn’t have a headliner and the body shop tossed the carpet so no reference.

I know the new kick panel carpet I got from Legendary is the same as my old dingy ones. And the paint I got to repaint them seems to match the back side that’s been hidden.

My interior is burnished saddle 1970 GS350 deluxe interior.
The headliner is brown. Not same.
    I have brown mats too.
Burnished saddle is nicer to me than brown.
Hopefully someone sees this and gets us both right manufacturer .

There is no supplier offering the dark brown you have to paint it,...and legendary's burnished saddle interior isn't correct looking either imo,..but it's what we have

The front seat covers I got matched pretty darned nice and soft. Glad I kept tears as is. May need to get a needle n thread to make headliner last a bit longer.
