I have a really nice brown auto console and shifter that I was planning on using on my 72 GS convertible, but have decided to go with the original fold down arm rest bench seat. This console is in great shape with no scrapes or cracks. It is complete except for the little stainless trim piece in the very front which probably won't be seen whe installed. The chrome is in very good shape, has a new Parts Place chrome lid and new woodgrain decals installed. The long Buick emblem has been polished and is in nice shape. If a different color is needed, it could easily be resprayed. The shifter is in great shape and was cleaned and repainted cast iron gray. I would take $325 for both + shipping.(new price $250 + shipping)
Carl, What is involved in respraying that Buick logo. I need one and it looks like I'm gonna have to recondition one. Help. Nelson
Joe, It has not been sprayed - that is the original color. Spraying it black would be easy. Clean it real good, maybe use wax and grease remover and dry it while still wet. Use plastic prep(plastic adhesion) and use an SEM black. There are many articles on how to do it, I believe some have been on this board.
