1970-1972 Skylark Power Windows ?

  1. Is there a difference between the Hardtop Quarter regulators and the Convertibles?

I see conflicting ads in ebay, some claim there rear regulators will work with HT & Convertibles and some ads are HT only.

The rear quarter windows are totally different on a coupe vs a convertible. But I don't know if the regulator itself is different.

The regulators are different. You can buy them aftermarket: CLICK HERE

    The regulators are the same.

I answered your question in "The Bench" section.

I also posted a link on our site for your review.

The regulators are the same as George says. I know because I used hardtop ones in my vert with no issues.

The actual track that the lower roller follows is different though. Its actually made of two parts, the lower stamped part with the 'slot" for the roller (same for hardtop and vert) and then the bracket riveted on the top section (verts and hardtops use different upper brakets but you can transfer them if need be).
