    With a 430?

With a 430 and an open rear with highway gears I'd estimate 16.2@78 MPH...

    Anyone know fer sher?

I dunno about that. If Lisks stocker 401 was runnin' 15.70s at Quakers crappy elevation, I'd say a 430 car should equal that. But I guess its all a matter of engine condition, tuning, etc.

One thing I've leaned over the years......It'll never run as fast as you want. :3gears:

oh, well engine condition isnt that good.

one piston was broken (57 psi compression), others were low, 2 cyllinders had bad spark.

but it kep up with a 69 ss chevelle.

led it for about the first 3/4 ish of the 1/4 and then the chevelle took over in top end.
