    Thanks, guys.

Side glass is all in loosely. Waiting on A pillar trim so I can make final adjustments. Inner and outer heater boxes, firewall pad, clutch and brake pedal assembly, intermediate and rear wire harnesses are all in. Bunch of small bits, too.

Pinstripe guy rescheduled for Thursday. I have to figure out how to temporarily hang fenders to get him to stripe this car while he's here. Ugh. I would really like to do this only once. Maybe I'll throw the core support on and install fenders without inners for this.

I always forget how much of a PITA the conv top seals are to install. Good lord.

Given our timeline, this was not a rotisserie job…so I’ve been working on cleaning up the bottom side of the car this weekend. I even installed some factory paint runs on the floor pan. Shot some raptor liner where the factory body schutz was, too.

The pinstriper bailed on Thursday since he didn’t have enough time left after he did the white car. So he is coming tomorrow.

Looks great! I assume this is all what would've come on the car orig.? Would they have been black on a Cameo Cream car?

    Night 1 of thrash fest.

Several parts have grown legs and gone missing. We will find them, though.

Engine and trans are in. Had some issues with stuff not going our way…broken bolts, etc. Tomorrow is a new day, and I think we will make some better progress.

I don’t know what happened. Dreamed a car fell on me. When I woke up I was in Adam’s garage, with Ajesh’s car above me.

    What happened?

I’m not in North Carolina anymore.

Dave- as soon as I saw you in the picture, I thought ‘damn… Adam is bringing out the big guns!!!!!” Lol.

I assume you will be looking at the other 2 69’s and correcting anything….? Adam’s work is spectacular… these are his first 69’s (no pun intended”…

It was a valiant effort this weekend. We managed to make it run and drive, and stop, into the trailer last night. They are back in Chicago this morning making a list of what needs to be finished before MCACN. Very attainable goal, I think.

Time to switch gears over to the other 2.

PS: we went through two Stage1 fuel pumps before we pulled and NOS one off the shelf to make it work. The old ones leaked badly. It's a real pisser to find this out after you spend good money on used pumps.

If you haven't tossed them out, don't.

There's a guy in California who rebuilds them, Fred Ballard.

Ajesh has a list of loose ends to attend to.
Some of the major parts needed are:

69 only back drive linkage to the steering column.

    69 tail light lens screws.

69 only tail light housing to bumper clips with the studs and nuts.

    antenna cable extension cable
