  3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete.     You must have a Time Machine that you hit the snooze button when you walk in the shop, time stops and only starts again when you turn out the lights. Thats a ton of work for 1 guy in 5 months!

    Almost ready for paint….this one took some effort to match the original color. All of the “new” formulas are too dark.

    Yeah working with the newer paint to get it to match older colors that were done with lacquer is not as easy as people think.

    The stepchildren are somewhat unique, but not a ton different than their younger siblings I’m used to working on. I might have had my fill by the end of this year for a while, though LOL
