Not really. Been finishing up the '70 Convertible. We did however pick up another one. We have 3 now to build one!!

Hey Sean - it looks like you have the wagon on an asymmetric lift. Any issues lifting it that way? I have a similar situation and it would be very helpful to back the wagon in like that. Would you lift it that way with the engine/trans in?

No problem at all. We do it all the time here. It's also a 10k lb lift so it's nice and beafy.

Going back to blue with the woodgrain. Both donor cars have blue interior so blue it is.

Yikes. I assume that's a 455 since it is in a big ole wagon, but maybe they put 350s in some.

Yep. It's a 455. "it's been rebuilt" said the seller. Of course I took that with a grain of salt. Car is a '69 so it should have been a 400. Have a 400 out of the parts car but its been sitting open for a long time so I think we'll build this '75 455. I already dragged out some 70-71 heads from "inventory"

I"think" 350's were the standard engine.

Yes they were - 4BBL was standard though (at least in '70-72). I've had a few '69 SW 400's. Shame Buick didn’t offer them w/the 455 &/or roof windows in '70-72.

Getting some floor pans welded in. We usually do this after we have it sandblasted but we're waiting to get it in to him so we figured we'd keep going. Check out the beautiful factory "Niagara Falls" tribute, Car must have been painted on a Friday!!!

That would have been great to have a factory 455 in the sportwagon.

    Olds offered the roof windows & a 455 in '70-2. That's why I'd always had '69 Sportwagon 400's. If I had unlimited time/$ I'd build a '70-2 with windows & a 455:).
