Sorry, missed the part where the A/C is not working. No idea why? Had to replace the A/C on my 70 GS, cost me $2k+. I decided to go with a modern system, not a fan of the 70 GM frigidaire units. VET
I think here in the for sale area, we try to skip the comments, other than to say that is a gorgeous car and a heck of a deal for someone.
a/c does not work. EVERY THING is there, never got around to check it out. been using it as a daily driver till they start salting streets. gas guage just stopped working last week. no pics of chassis but there is zero rust or repairs {was a dry west car almost all of its life}. exhaust is perfect. dropped price as i must have room to work on my gsx. choke does not work as it needs a choke spring. so far it has no problem starting down to 18 degrees just need to feather throttle a couple minutes before driving when its below 35 degrees.
yes heat works fine. but i believe the vacuum ball is faulty i cant seem to switch from vent to floor?
been dreading and procrastinating {one of my best character flaws" lol moving things around in garage to get riv on lift for pics. take a look and any opinions or questions fire away!
zero rot or heavy rust! even all the pinchweld areas are rot and heavy rust free. only rust you are seeing is light surface. charlie,,,
I agree, just expected surface rust, no big deal. Frame, superstition parts, what body panels I can see, and floor pans all look solid. Thanks, Charlie, for taking the time and effort of taking close-up pics. Your Riv looks solid.... Someone will be buying a very good Buick. Vet (Navy)
Thanks Charlie for posting these. Helps a lot. Under carriage looks pretty good! Battery tray looking ok? Looks like no oil leaks which is a plus. Sent you a PM as well
Thank you @charlierogers ! Great working with you. Thanks for being as OCD as I with the shipping. Car is very nice, drives great, radio and 8 track even works Looks great next to my 70
