I'm swapping a big block into my 65 Skylark, I pitched the big car pump bracket and picked up a set of '69 brakets on Ebay. I need a pump but there are so many generic pictures on line, I can't tell what is right. If I get a rebuilt pump with the square reservoir, which return pipe location works? Does it matter? Which one is really correct for a 67 and up Skylark with a 400 / 430 / 455? I have seen them pointing every which way. Any pics or description / Cardone number would help, thanks.
