    herb69GS The Good One

Here is a short video of me test driving my 69 GS California just after setting the new 455 in it. I couldn't even wait for the doors to go on to drive it. The block is a 370hp 455 and is numbered as the 228th 455 ever built, it was originally in a 1970 Buick Electra. I have made some changes by doing oil mods to the block and it has a TA Performance TA288-98H cam and the crank turned .010 and flat top pistons with chrome moly rings. The factory heads are done up to stage 1 with stainless valves with heavy duty springs and rockers, ported and polished and matched to intake and exhaust. Edlebrock Performer intake and Edlebrock Thunder Series 800cfm carb. It has a Pertronix Hei conversion kit added to the factory distributor so factory Ram Air System will work. TA performance headers Jet Hot coated polished with 3 1/2 inch collectors to 3 inch exhaust with dynomax mufflers. 3.42 posi track, the transmission is the TH400 that also came out of the same 1970 Electra but built up with waffle clutches and stage 3 shift kit with custom 2600 RPM stall converter. It has street tires but will put Mickey Thompson Street ET's when I go to the track. More videos to come
