I have for sale a 68 Riviera that is in very nice original condition. The mileage is showing 45k miles and was represented to me as actual by the previous long time owner. I have been through the car cleaning and inspecting and everything seems to be in good working order including the headlight system. I did more cleaning than detailing under the hood as to leave it as original as possible. I did rebuild the carb and clean and paint the headlight actuators and housings along with the buckets and grill inserts. The items that have been replaced over the years include the radiator, waterpump, exhaust and master cylinder. Everything else appears to be stock. It was repainted exterior only many years ago and looks to me that it is laquer? A few chips here and there but overall straight and presentable with very nice chrome. The potmetal items are showing some pitting. The underside of the car was undercoated and I spent two months scraping and cleaning that up! What a mess :af: I repainted the frame and posi rear axel. The shocks, brake lines ect. are original and I will leave it up to the new owner to replace or leave vintage. The floors and rockers are very solid. The outer rear wheelhousings had a golf ball size rust hole on each side, lower corner. I did a quick patch job on them. The options include the center console w/buckets, climate control A/C, pwr wdw, seats, ant., Am/FM stereo, rear defrost, speed minder, tilt, etc. The engine is a PD code 430 with the original TH400 and posi rear axel. The block is vin stamped, no docs. I have additional photos available and I prefer potential buyers inspect the vehicle as it is sold "AS IS" with now "WARRANTY" It runs smooth and does not smoke but its an old car folks :) Asking price is $18,500.00 and I can be reached at 812 521 3811.

Thanks for the ad space V8Buick
