I have a very nice 68 riviera I would like to sell. Low miles, nice options, original drive train. $13,500.00 Seymour, IN. patjillr@gmail.com Pat 812 521 3811
Thanks for the compliment It has 45,000 miles on it. It has a couple small flaws like pitted door handles and the spear on the hood has started to loose its color in spots. I will have to say I've never seen an interior any better. I hope to get it passed on to another Buick guy before I'm forced the ebay route. Thanks again Pat
They are part of the "Circulaire fresh-air ventilation system", eliminating the need for vent windows in the doors.
Very nice looking Riviera Pat - good luck on finding a good home for your car. One of a few with the rear defroster grill still intact, bucket seats, auto AC, and nice pics too ! :TU:
"Thanks Chuck" . . . hopefully, it did find a good home. 68Rivi_In_Cali strikes again ? ou: Quite a few old posts being brought back to life - nothing like re-reading yesterdays news !
Hey 68Rivi_In_Cali... STOP MESSIN' WITH MY HEAD MAN!!! This is like some episode of 'The Twilight Zone' where I am doomed to re-live the past of great Buick deals that got away!!:ball:
LOL I guess I strike again! I needed to post 10 posting so I would be allowed to post links. Speaking of deals, I was going to buy a 1968 Rivi from a man that had no idea of its worth for only $200! Thats not it, the car had a rebuilt 455 that had not been turned over because they were looking for an oil pan with a center sump. I was then told that it had some weird air cleaner on it, he then said, I was told it was the Star wars air cleaner. I know it doesnt belong there but that alone was worth the small fee of $200! As I called a towing company, after telling him i'd buy it, He flaked on me and sold it!ou: I never forgave him!
Thank you, Hey I have a question, What carb would you recommend for my 68 Rivi with a 455? I have the original 430 engine carb on it. Are there any gains from a q-jet 800cfm? Thanks Nice looking car you have there by the way, as you can see, Mine has a lot of work to do, I want to have it in at least drivable condition by prom, yup started off young, I got my Riv when I was 12 and have been fixing it up since 16, I'm almost 18 and I still haven't enjoyed it to the fullest! thanks :3gears:
