Hi, Was wondering if someone might have some good photos of the bucket seat upholstery on a '68 Riv. I'm converting to buckets, but the bucket seats I'm buying are the standard level of upholstery. The rest of the interior is the Custom level, which uses a different pattern. Soooo, I'm looking for photos of bucket seat upholstery that's the Custom level, as opposed to the standard level that has a narrow stitched pattern. Hard to describe the differences. Thanks! Hey, just happened to think, has anyone had '68 buckets repholstered? Got the old upholstery still lying around? Just need something that would enable Fryer's (or some other upholstery shop) to use as a pattern. Appreciate any help.
Hey, I always wanted to do that too. Here is a link From OPGI. They front seats should be the same, as for the rear I don't know. http://www.opgi.com/product.asp?topcatid=91&chapterid=91&topvalue=0&newflag=0&grpcode=756&yearrange= Here are rivi interior pics though I found them online, I have more but I need to look for them ey any pic of your car?
Here's the corresponding style for '69. By the way, I'm also preparing to convert to bucket seats over the Winter.
Hey, sorry for not posting thanks to all who posted here, I got involved in a bunch of other stuff and just didn't get time to look over all the info. Unfortunately, all the pics posted aren't of the Custom level upholstery, which has a wide stitched pattern running front to rear as opposed to side to side on the seat bottoms. I've found some pics on the 'net, but they're all incomplete, like show only a little of the seat bottom but nothing of the seat back. Again, thanks, and if you might have or be able to take pics of your Custom level upholstery I'd sure appreciate it...maybe with pics an upholstery shop might be able to duplicate.
These are the ones in my car front to back? This is how it was given to me, its quite dirty right now!
Hey 68Rivi*, that's it! That's the pattern used in the Custom interior. Thanks much man, I'd think a decent upholstery shop could do up something from those pics. Thanks again.
