will e-mail pics car is solid and has a correct year 400 gs motor but not numbers matching that is re-sealed .runs great.asking $5200.car is located in southern middle wisconsin.i
Ed, do you have any other pictures you can post? Like of the interior..Is the 4 speed and rearend numbers matching and can you list the vin number please..Also usually you can take smaller pictures to post by changeing the pixle size in your camera setup.. other than the engine it is #'s matching.the engine came out of a 68 gs 400.i purchased the engine from n25 , a v-8 buick .com member .he said it had 97k on the car it came out of.when i pulled it apart to re-seal the engine the main bearings were in excellant shape.the cylinder walls still had the original hone marks with no up and down scratches just a slight ware pattern.it has about a .003-.005 ridge.piston skirts also not scored.in stead of 97k it looked more like 50k.one push of the foot feed and she starts right up ,no cloud or oil smell.60 oil psi upon start up at idle and 35-40 psi warmed up and 50 at driving speed.it has the pr code on block deck.the original vin # was not stamped on block that i could find.that is generally found under the alternator.
sorry it is not.it has the original turbo 400.this also has the original rear end.the 400(pr code)came out of a 68gs.bucket seat column shift.i thought the car was a clone when i bought it to make a race car,i ran the vin and to my suprise it was real and all there except it had a 72 755 that i'm planning on buildin gto put in my 72 gs clone .randy (sparkplug) was kind enough to hook me up with tim (n-25)who had the 400.the 400 had not been stamped with the vin code that i could find ,buick was guilty of this quite often.i do have the correct build date carb(oct 67) on the engine that aligns with build date with the car(5th week of nov 67).if it does not sell i will be putting it away to restore later when i can afford it.i have all ready collected a couple items for the car. ed

buick i have a 72 gs stage clone for sale. i'm asking 8000.00 for it. i really like your car,esp since it has a 4speed. that's what i been looking for. maybe we can work some thing out. the thing is, i live in NC and how the heck can i get it? i'm sure i can sell mine's for 8000.00 or even more or you may want to buy it. let me know what we can do....mike
buick have a 1972 gs stage1clone for sale. asking 8000.00. has new paint,new carpet(not installed) new headliner(not installed) 455/350 runs good. bench seats,good interior. no body rust. will trade for a 68-72 skylark/gs 4speed at same vaule. pm me for more infor and pics....mike
