I like it a lot-wish the pictures were better. Plug wires need to go but otherwise looks looks mostly ‘right’. Patrick
I don't care for the black top and interior with Cameo Cream. I may be biased but a white top and interior look much better with that color. The rally stripe is not correctly positioned, most non-factory applied stripes are put on wrong. It has an AM radio antenna with an AM-FM radio. 69 radiator hose hook. Otherwise looks pretty clean. Almost a twin to mine but mine has a few more options.
The white is much better. Beautiful car. New to buicks. What antenna goes to a am/gm radio amd what options were availible with the dash accessory switch as i can not find anyyhing thays hooked up to mine. But the motor was switched so im assuming cruise control
An AM-FM antenna is one piece and not tele-scoping. The accessory switch on a convertible is for the convertible top. Not sure if the accessory switch was also used for the rear defogger or cruise control on a coupe.
Mike, I agree that your combo looks better. White is better for seats in a ‘vert, too! I looked at the pics on my phone so I can’t see details like the antenna or exactly where the stripes run. I think cruise said ‘Cruise’ and had a light, while defog was ‘Accessory’. If a coupe had both (or a convertible had cruise) it got two switches in the panel. Patrick
Its strange how Buick did not have a dedicated switch panel that said UP / Down for the convertible top. To this day I never pick the right direction when pushing the switch to put my top up or down on the first try Don't do it often enough to burn it into my brain, even after 21 years of owning it...
Agree on the white interior, this one looks better than most 68's that I see though which seem to be cobbled together. Agree on the plug wires, yuk, about 90 minutes away from me....hmm.
