I have a pair of 1968 Buick Custom/Deluxe Interior seat buttons in Buckskin for sale. These are the flat oval buttons, trimmed in chrome with the vinyl in the middle, and the vinyl is in great shape.

I have only the buttons, there are no retainers. Price is $20.00 for the pair, shipping is included to anywhere in the 48.

    Gene,
Here are the front & back pics. When I cleaned them up I noticed each had a couple of tiny cracks in the vinyl. If you are interested I am dropping the price to $15 pair with shipping.

    Wheelz,
The buttons on your seat are not the same. The ones I am selling here are for the 68 Custom interiors, like you would find on the Custom/Deluxe front bucket/bench seat interiors.

The buttons/rear seat you are selling is for the standard interior cars, and the buttons are different.

You got a pic of your buttons? I'm trying to get an idea of what buttons go where.

The seat design and button layout for a deluxe interior is completely different then for a standard interior, so a pic of Wheelz seat will not help you. I will see if I can find a pic of a 68 deluxe seat.

Here are the way the seats/buttons look for the 68 deluxe interiors. The buttons I am selling are for this design.

Dont get me wrong and I am NOT saying I disagree with anyone, but without having them BOTH IN HAND..., the buttons sure do kinda look the same to me! Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    Wheelz,
Your buttons are long & thin with straight sides, the buttons I am selling are oval with bulged out sides, they are two totally different animals, and are used for completely different applications. Even I can see the differences from the pics you posted of your seat.

I had been in the car upholstery business for over 25 years, I should know what I am talking about. I sure did enough of these interiors in the day, and was actually the first company to come out with repro 65-72 GS interiors.

I OR anyone else would be a total FOOOOL to QUESTON YOU DUANE. :) SOO many times, we come across small, intricate, silly little changes and often wonder WHY? THUS... I was simply trying to understand the differences, thats all. Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    Gene,
Sorry but all I have are these 2 buttons.

If you need a set of 68 Deluxe seat buttons for both the front & rear seats then you will need a total of 8 buttons.

    Wheelz, I hear ya.
If you saw them in person the two types would look like night & day. I have seen your type of buttons on different Buicks and some Chevys like the Caprice.

I have a box full of different buttons for mid 60's thru early 70's Ford and Mercurys. I should dig them out, they are not reproduced and should be worth some serious $$$$$.
