In need of a oil dipstick for a 69 LeSabre with 350 V8 and power brakes. Looking for NOS or very good used. I think 1968-69 Buick 350 V8s use the same dipstick? Part number may be 1234632?

With tube. If you have one what is the part number?

This is the one I have and its giving me a false reading. Oil level is well above the top full mark. Can you tell me what engine and year your dipstick came from. Did it come from a car with power brakes. From what I understand Buicks with power brake use a longer dipstick tube.

    Thanks

Came from a 70 LeSabre....easiest solution for you....do an oil change and let the engine run a few mins.
Shut off...remove the dipstick..wipe clean...reinstall...remove again and there is your new full mark...use a file
to score a line for the FULL line and you are set.

I think the 70 LS had power brakes ..... but based on my experience with 350 and 455 engines....some had power brakes and no dip stick tube......they dipstick has a captured washer that sits flat on the block deck...this one has that captured washer.
