Yes, esp. a stepchild but even a nicely done '70-72 350 4-sp hardtop won't bring huge $ - Ask how I know, lol. Took a huge hit on my last one yet I do really like them (super fun cars) so I'm re-doing another. Also poss. that the subject car is not even an orig. 4sp. car - At the very least the shifter handle may/may not be correct & chrome ring around the boot isn't which makes me suspect.
LOL! I had to fight off one low ball after the next on my 68 GS400….. I think the stepchildren are the best kept secrets ever. I would not hesitate to get another if the price is right.
Those and '71-2 GS w/350 are probably the best kept secret/best values in the muscle car market esp. '68-9 400's for getting a BB car.
I agree. The '71 GS350 I had for a while was fun to drive, handled well, and looked pretty good. I think the paint was Pearl Beige but it may have been Arctic White. Nothing on it had been modified. The auto trans was slipping from the day I bought it. On the day it totally crapped out, I sold it.
