Does anyone know how to get the seat to manually move forward so I can get back 2 bolts. Car currently has no wiring and I’m try to run new and remove seats. They didn’t work when the car was wired probably stuck or bad motors.

If you cannot move it by hotwiring it is best to use a long wench to get to the bolts.

Disconnect the flexible shaft from the seat motor at one side and use a power drill to move the seat forward so you can reach the bolts.

From my 1966 Fisher Body manual, 1967 should be identical:

Thanks for the replies. I finally hot wired it and could hear the motor making noise then got behind it and pushed at the same time and it finally moved enough. Didn’t know about the fisher body manual, ordered it yesterday along with wiring diagram for the car. Thanks again!
