Removed retractable seat belt units from my 67 hardtop.....Has anyone changed the belt on these? The part No. on the metal mount is G67 . The plastic cap on one end that houses the recoil spring says caution DO NOT REMOVE.
If changing to an new belt isn't an option who sells the Factor replacement units? I have checked OPGI and they don't seem to list this part. Any info would be appreciated

Thanks for the link, very easy to follow. Took mine apart, with no problem and will order new webbing.
I also googled how to remove the webbing on the Hamill RCF 65 buckle , with a link to a corvette site . It is posted as Anatomy 101 RCF-65 Seat Belt Buckles. I will try disassembling the buckle next.

The buckle is not too bad. Just some moving around to get the belt out and back in.
